Job Purpose

The Lead Cutter is an experienced Butcher that will assist in managing a unique and welcoming retail butcher counter. Job Purpose 

 

The Administrative Assistant shall perform various duties and undertake various responsibilities consistent with Belcampo values. This position requires someone with strong customer service and organization skills with some previous Human Resource experience. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all onboarding / termination paperwork and is tasked to maintain accurate records including invoices, employee absences/time off requests, payroll and workers compensation claims. To accomplish the above aforementioned tasks, this person will work closely with the Human Resources and Accounting Department.

  • Open mail and scan and send invoices to Accounts Payable (AP) for payment. Input accounts payable and applicable credit card expenses in quickbooks and keep track of Belcampo Production Data and add into data capturing software.

  • Complete and submit payroll and track and record employee time off requests and absences.
  • Track all edited time cards and keep accurate payroll files.

Job Purpose

 

The General Manager is responsible for maintaining a welcoming retail and restaurant experience as well as day-to-day management of staff and operations (restaurant, butcher, and grocery) at the store. Job Purpose

 

The Butcher is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the butcher counter as well as the primary point of contact for guests to interact with. The Butcher will be key in assuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction as well as a great working environment for all Belcampo Meat Co employees.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Fill/maintain/merchandise meat case (as directed by Head Butcher).
  • Coordinate with Chef and Head Butcher to assure maximum product (meat) usage.
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations; enforcement of safe in-store practices; initiative to keep department clean, well-stocked and organized.
  • Continuous thirst for knowledge expanding to note taking and extra-curricular learning; willingness to learn new techniques from Head Butcher.
  • Oversee grocery / retail area
  • Contributes to team effort by going above and beyond duties described here.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years in retail meat cutting;
  • Experience working with whole animals – the anatomy and muscle structure in relation to cooking techniques;
  • Working experience with POS systems;
  • Highest attention to detail, organization and cleanliness;
