Job Purpose 

 

The Administrative Assistant shall perform various duties and undertake various responsibilities consistent with Belcampo values. This position requires someone with strong customer service and organization skills with some previous Human Resource experience. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all onboarding / termination paperwork and is tasked to maintain accurate records including invoices, employee absences/time off requests, payroll and workers compensation claims. To accomplish the above aforementioned tasks, this person will work closely with the Human Resources and Accounting Department.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Open mail and scan and send invoices to Accounts Payable (AP) for payment. Input accounts payable and applicable credit card expenses in quickbooks and keep track of Belcampo Production Data and add into data capturing software.
  • Maintain employee files including all new hire and termination paperwork.
  • Complete and submit payroll and track and record employee time off requests and absences.
  • Track all edited time cards and keep accurate payroll files.
  • Maintain employee including records of recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
  • Orients new employees by providing orientation information packets; reviewing company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information; explaining and obtaining signatures for benefit programs.
  • Documents human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

The General Manager is responsible for maintaining a welcoming retail and restaurant experience as well as day-to-day management of staff and operations (restaurant, butcher, and grocery) at the store. The General Manager will be key in assuring the highest level of customer service, hospitality, and work environment for all Belcampo Meat Co employees.  The General Manager will insure the Belcampo story is told to all guests through all employees.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Management: Front of house scheduling and oversight of master schedule (aggregate of all departments) Invoice allocation and submission to Account Manager; Oversight of daily register reconciliation and cash deposits; Run weekly manager meetings with Butcher, Head Chef and any other managers needed; Implement and maintain proper in-store marketing and messaging; Maintain good communication of important messages and news for all employees; Employee write-ups; Adherence to health and safety regulations; enforcement of safe in-store practices
  • Leading by Example: Leads service with a hand-on approach to service and hospitality.  Hold team accountable to service standards and maintain accurate documentation of training / coaching conversations.
  • Purchasing/Retail: Oversight of purchasing and ordering for grocery, office and cleaning inventory and Front of House supplies; Oversee / coordinate retail displays;
  • Hiring/Training: Oversight/implementation of proper of interview process for all employees; Hospitality training for all customer facing employees (servers, runners, cashiers, butchers); Dissemination and processing of proper paperwork (W-9’s, health insurance enrollment, company policies, benefits, etc.); Promote/terminate as necessary;
  • Guest Engagement: Engage as many guests as possible.  Network within the clientele to build regulars..  Assure highest level of customer service, including fielding/handling customer complaints and questions as required;
  • Store maintenance: including fix-its, cleanliness, IT issues, etc.
  • Budget: Ongoing evaluation and management of store costs including labor, COGS, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • 8+ years of restaurant service and FOH experience
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • 2+ years of bar experience
  • High school diploma/GED preferred, Bachelors Degree recommended (relevant major encouraged)
  • Manager Food Safety Certification is required

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • This positions requires an employee who can work standing for 10 hours a day, 50 hours a week
  • Lift approximately 40 pounds

Job Description

 

The Line Cook bears responsibility for checking in with Head/Sous Chef and ensuring that the Head/Sous Chef are aware of the status of the products and supplies. The Line Cook assists in opening and/or closing the station and making sure all prep work is complete by the scheduled time of opening and/or closing. They are responsible for keeping their station clean and sanitized, as well as coming to work on time. They are expected to run their station cleanly and efficiently during service.

 

Requirements/Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare family meals
  • Maintain and assure highest level of quality for all fresh prepared food products
  • Execute dishes with great attention to quality, as specified by Head Chef
  • Assist in training line cooks and dishwashers
  • Assist line cooks, assessing quality and correcting when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with local health department and other regulations
  • Assess quantity and quality of all station prep and mise en place
  • Complete station inventories and checklists
  • Keep station clean and organized, including regular deep cleanings
  • Inform chef in timely fashion of any shortages or quality issues
