Farm Spotlight: Campo Rojo

Owned by the Co-Founder of Belcampo, this small ranch located in the Garzon region of Uruguay has a heritage in traditional regenerative farming. It's native grasslands and Mediterranean climate create ideal conditions for the animals and some of the world’s best grass-fed and finished beef. With Belcampo’s partnership, it is the first ranch to become Certified Humane in the country. The meat is shipped to us by the boat to reduce our carbon footprint, and wet aged during transport to increase tenderness. We do the final cutting and packaging at the Belcampo Butchery.
