SUMMARY:Mt. Shasta Summit Expedition Style Ascent and Farm Stay
DESCRIPTION:Join Shasta Mountain Guides and a group of 10 people in an ascent of the second-highest volcano in the United States. A major peak of the Cascade Range\, and part of Pacific Ocean's Ring of Fire\, Mt. Shasta rises 14\,179 feet above Shasta Valley.\n\nNo previous mountaineering experience is necessary\, but prospective climbers should be in excellent physical condition. More information on a conditioning and training program available upon request.\n\n\n \tJune 25: Dinner and accomodations at Belcampo Farms\n \tJune 26: Breakfast at Belcampo Farms\, then depart for Mt. Shasta\n \tJune 26-June 28: Expedition ascent of Mt. Shasta\n \tJune 28: Return to Belcampo Farms\, dinner and accomodations at Belcampo Farms\n\n\n3-day summit includes: Tents\, delicious organic meals (breakfast & dinner) vegetarian meals are easily accommodated\, ropes\, harnesses\, all summit passes and permits\, friendly guides and mountaineering instruction. Hike also includes sleeping under the stars with a sunrise setting above the clouds early Sunday morning. Transportation will be provided to and from Mt. Shasta.

DESCRIPTION:You and fellow campers of all experience levels will gain a thorough understanding of meat cookery with a focus on open-fire grilling. You’ll learn butchery fundamentals\, practice basic knife skills\, and get an inside look into the sustainable farming practices on Belcampo Farms\, which is a 20\,000+ acre Animal Welfare Approved and Organic working farm that raises cattle\, pigs\, chicken\, and more.\n\nThe camp is all-inclusive\, with participants lodging in luxury “glamping” tents in the farm’s orchard\, enjoying farm-style beverages\, and indulging in delicious family-style meals prepared by Belcampo chefs using Belcampo’s Organic\, pasture raised\, grass-fed and grass-finished meats.\n\nBelcampo Farms is located in Gazelle\, CA at the base of Mt. Shasta in Northern CA. The farm is about a 5 hour drive to/from San Francisco. For guests traveling to/from Southern CA\, we recommend flying from LAX to MFR (Medford\, OR)\, then driving about 1 hr. and 15 min. from Medford airport to Belcampo Farms.
