About Belcampo Meat Camps

Coined “Summer Camp for Grown-Ups” by The Oprah Magazine, Belcampo Meat Camp is an unforgettable culinary getaway that you’ll remember for a lifetime. Every Summer at Belcampo Farms, we welcome guests to experience our popular Meat Camps, retreats, and farm stays. Our goals are simple — to connect you with the source of your food, to inspire you to cook it in a way that is rudimentary and genius all at the same time, and to have fun!

During your stay, you lodge in luxury tents on our farm orchard, enjoy family style, farm-to-table meals prepared by Belcampo chefs under the stars, and participate in a variety of meat cookery lessons throughout the day. Guests gain an inside look into the sustainable farming practices on our Animal Welfare Approved farm through guided farm tours and obtain hands on experience practicing butchery and open-fire grilling with Belcampo Organic, pasture raised meat.

General Meat Camp: June 2019

June 1, 2019 – June 3, 2019

At Meat Camp: General Session, you'll spend 3 days and 2 nights on beautiful and picturesque Belcampo Farms. Here, you and about 25 fellow campers of all experience levels, will gain a thorough understanding of meat cookery with a focus on open-fire grilling. You’ll learn butchery fundamentals, practice basic knife skills, and get an inside look into the sustainable farming practices on our farm.

June 28, 2019 - June 30, 2019

Belcampo and Traeger Grills are teaming up for an unforgettable outdoor experience, connecting you to the source of your food, and inspiring you to cook and experience flavor like never before. You’ll join a group of 25 “campers” spending three days and two nights on the picturesque Belcampo Farms, learning from a female-led team of experts. Belcampo Farms co-founder and CEO, Anya Fernald will teach everything from sustainable farming practices and butchery fundamentals, and Traeger Pitmaster Diva Q and cookbook author Amanda Haas will show you all the skills you need to cook and prepare a flavorful wood-fired meal from start to finish.

It’s summer camp for dads (or moms) who love to cook outside. It’s City Slickers meets outdoor, open-fire culinary school, where you’ll learn the ins and outs of sustainable, organic, ethical farming practices from Belcampo Farms.
