Chargrilled Wings


For the Wings:
– 10 Chicken Wings
– Salt & Pepper to taste

For the Teriyaki Sauce:
– 1/2 Cup Coconut Amino
– 1/2 Cup Honey or Coconut Sugar
– 1/4 Cup Orange Juice
– 2 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar
– 1 Tablespoon Fresh Grated Ginger
– 1-2 Garlic Cloves, pressed or minced
– 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil
– Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes

We love saucy wings but like to get a nice char on them first. Our recommended technique is to thoroughly dry your wings, either by toweling them off or by leaving them spread out on a tray or rack in your refrigerator overnight.

Then, a light dusting of salt and pepper and onto a hot grill.

To Dress:

Once cooked, you can dress wings with your favorite tangy hot sauce or teriyaki. We recommend this great soy-free teriyaki sauce recipe for your chargrilled wings:

  1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat
  2. When mixture begins to boil, stir for another 2-3 minutes
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Cool and toss over wings!
