Honey Roasted Carrots

A sweet side your guests will love!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lbs carrots, peeled and cut into 1” pieces

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp ras el hanout (optional but delicious)

  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, minced

  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, minced

  • Kosher salt

STEP-BY-STEP

  • 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the peeled and cut carrots.

  • 2. Cook the carrots until al dente. Drain the carrots.

  • 3. Melt the butter in a large pan over high heat. Add honey and lemon juice. Cook until it begins to bubble.

  • 4. Add the carrots and cook until they glaze over with the honey mixture.

    5. Season with salt and ras el hanout.
